Senior Human Resources Representative
Human Resources Department

Responsibilities:

Recruitment Activities include the thorough screening of applicants, analysis of records and the determination of candidates to be interviewed.  Develop detailed evaluation tools to objectively assess candidates.  Conduct internal and external applicant interviews.  Recommend candidates for final selections.  Coach hiring managers on recruitment process, company policies and state and federal laws and regulations governing employment and ensure that the process is consistent and in compliance with regulations and policies.  Provide career counseling for employees and handle employee-relations issues.  Perform various administrative duties including gathering and analyzing work history records, recording applicant flow data, preparing recruitment matrices outlining the knowledge, skills and abilities to be assessed during the interview process, scheduling interviews, tracking and recording all activity, providing information in defense of discrimination charges, etc.  Conduct outreach activities including attendance at recruitment job fairs.  Assist in preparation of monthly, weekly statistical and various ad hoc reports and analysis. 

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or a related field of study and prior related human resources experience including strong, current recruitment experience.  Excellent working knowledge of applicable laws, policies and procedures with experience in positions requiring knowledge of company policies and procedures and organizational structure with responsibility for interpreting and guiding individuals on Company policy.  Must have general working knowledge of human resources with strong, effective administrative (detail-oriented), organizational, coordination, human relations, communication (written & oral), listening, problem solving, analytical, statistical analysis, and forecasting skills and the ability to make appropriate decisions and recommendations.  Must have proficient computer skills (i.e. Excel, Word, Access, Payroll/Personnel mainframe system) with ability to generate presentable reports, graphs, etc. from raw data; and ability to deal professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization and possess a strong work ethic and high level of professional integrity to maintain confidentiality and trust.  Must be a self-starter with the ability to meet performance standards with minimal day-to-day supervision and effectively handle many diverse activities simultaneously.  Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends, when necessary.

Preferred/Desirable Skills/Qualifications:
Prior HR compensation and/or HR planning & systems and/or labor relations experience is highly desirable.
