Senior Revenue Compliance Analyst
Accounting Department
Position Summary:
The Senior Revenue Compliance Analyst position is responsible for the maintenance, processing, administration, tracking, and reporting of all On-Board fare invoices (ADL 6009 forms) issued to customers for non-payment of fares.
Major Responsibilities:
- Maintain the database for ADL 6009’s issued and paid.
- Prepare reports for Assistant Conductors/Conductors of customers with multiple, outstanding ADL 6009’s.
- Administer the production and mailing of dunning letters to customers with outstanding ADL 6009 invoices to improve collections.
- Work with keypunch vendor to reconcile ADL 6009 form data received and input. Reconcile any discrepancies.
- Prepare reports identifying trends in ADL 6009 issuances to be distributed to the Controller and Chief Transportation Officer.
- Assist with the development (with IT Dept) and maintenance of an ACCESS database to track ADL 6009 activity.
- Respond to customer and Public Relation inquiries regarding ADL 6009’s activity.
- Perform the activities of the Head Clerk in the Revenue Compliance Section in absence of incumbent as required.
- Other related duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Must have a minimum of four years related general accounting and reporting experience (account analysis, report preparation, analytical reviews).
- Must understand the concept of Internal Controls.
- Must possess proficient computer skills with working knowledge of various software packages i.e., Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Ability to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Must possess a strong work ethic with a high level of integrity and ability to operate successfully as a member in a team environment.
