Buses Replace Eastbound Trains at Hollis & Queens Village
July 14-15

Switch replacement and track work in the Jamaica Station area will affect eastbound train service for Hollis and Queens Village customers during the weekend of July 14-15.  During this weekend, substitute bus service will be provided for eastbound Hollis and Queens Village customers between 2 PM Saturday and 2 AM Sunday as detailed below.

Hollis and Queens Village
Eastbound: Customers traveling to Hollis and Queens Village Stations will transfer to buses at Jamaica ten minutes later than normally scheduled trains.  Customers at Hollis and Queens Village traveling to points east will board vans for local Hempstead Branch service.  Customers should anticipate up to 30 minutes additional travel time.
Westbound:  Customers not affected.

Hillside Facility (LIRR employees only)
Eastbound: Employees will board buses at Jamaica for the Hillside Facility ten minutes later than normally scheduled trains.  Eastbound Hillside Facility employees must travel west to Jamaica for points east.
Westbound: Not affected.
