Artist's Website

MICHAEL SHULMAN is the originator of the "shred violin" style. His musical compositions combine elements of classical, metal, rock, and Gypsy music to create one melodic palette of different emotional colors. Born in Russia, Michael has traveled to many countries and currently resides in New York City. He started his solo project "Paganini XXI Century" in March of 2006. He also plays in the band "Pure Fire." Michael is both a composer and a performer of his original music. His main instrument is a six string electric violin, and he's been playing the violin since the age of six.
